Once you pay the transfer fee to Pinehurst Country Club the member has the option of choosing the type of membership that best meets his/her needs.
Each of the following memberships include use of the dining facilities, golf, tennis, swimming pools, Beach Club, croquet and lawn bowls and discounts at the Pinehurst Spa. The following are 2011 rates.
(1) Full Membership…Monthly fee: $361.00
There are no green fees for golf or court fees for tennis and lawn sports.
(2) Tennis Membership…Monthly fee: $250.00
There are no court fees for tennis and lawn sports, but green fees for golf are applicable.
(3) Recreational Membership…Monthly fee: $139.00
Golf greens fees , court fees for tennis and lawn sports are applicable.
(4) Social Membership…Monthly fee: $87.00
Golf greens fees, court fees for tennis and lawn sports are applicable.
One of the great options a member has is to upgrade or downgrade his/her membership. So if a member lives out of state and only uses the membership to play golf a few times a year, then the membership classification the member might want to consider is the Social Membership. Cost to play golf then is the full greens fee for whichever course the member wants to play.
If that same member decides move to Pinehurst or near by then he/she might consider upgrading to a Full Membership. Only catch is that whichever classification is chosen it must stay in effect for 1 year minimum.
Check back later for a list of amenities that go with the Pinehurst CC membership.

I’ve heard often that Pinehurst Country Club and Resort must be expensive to join, but considering the cost of other golf clubs of this caliber, the cost is very reasonable. A transfer fee of $12,000 allows members the opportunity to play 6 golf courses, including Pinehurst #2, site of the 1999, 2005, 2014 US Open and the 2014 US Women’s Open.
The main criteria for joining PCC is the purchase of property; be it a lot, condo, or house. Once you have purchased the property there is a 60 day period that allows the new buyer to transfer the membership into his/her name. An application for membership is required but is very simple. That’s all there is to it!

Banana and Chocolate! Pineapple and Chocolate! More fruit, chocolate, coconut, cinnamon and other toppings!
My daughter gave me a fruit arrangement for my birthday from Edible Arrangements and what a great gift as well as fun to eat! And I will admit those chocolate covered bananas were outstanding.
There is a new Edible Arrangements in the Pinehurst area. I highly recommend it if you need a treat for someone special.
They are located in Pinecrest Shopping Center (phone number 910-693-7848, website www.EdibleArrangements.com)
